Silt Fence Silt fence is a temporary structure to prevent or minimizetransportation of sediment in storm water run off. They are mainly and widely used below disturbed areas where erosion would occur in the form of sheet and rill erosion because they are economical, relatively easy to construct and effective. We have two main types of Silt Fence -- Economy Silt Fence : 24”  and 36”  wide,   The material is Polypropylene tape x tape yarn with UV resistant additive to  fulfill the request of 6 months and 12 months of  outdoor application. The fabric is black color with colored marker lines 6”  away from each edge. -- D.O.T. Type A Silt Fence: 36” wide, the material is Polypropylene tape x mono yarn with UV resistant additive. This type of silt fence is designed for high flow and long life. Besides master roll size silt fence, we are also developing the silt fence with back supported wire grid in 100ft roll.
